So, what did I do in my interim few weeks, well...
I finally unpacked my consoles and hooked them up (six months of catching up on subscriptions and friends and being on here and dealing with school stuff, kind of doesn't leave time for actual gaming). Here's the thing though...I didn't play anything on them though.
Instead, I also hooked up my gaming pc (no internet connectivity currently), on which I played Age of Mythology a lot. I really like that game a lot.
I actually turned on a TV to watch something *le grand gasp*. I watched Dexter, Hell's Kitchen (live for once), and Ranma 1/2. So, serial killer sociopath, ex-soccer/football star turned chef wunderkin rageaholic, and a transgendered martial artist...hmmm...that's an odd medley isn't it...
Made many trips back and forth to the hospital. Yeah, while I was away, my grandmother got really sick, nearly died sick. She's better now proving that truly evil things don't die easily. Keep in mind, where I'm evil...this is the woman who taught the woman who taught me to be evil...making her like an uber grand evil thing on par with Satan, Darkseid, and the things that spawned Jack Thompson and Uwe Boll-shit...seriously...something had to fuck them the hell up like that.
Finally got to try Champions Online (trial, but it's a start). I think I've found an MMO I can actually sink my teeth into and enjoy...that's saying a lot for an MMO...still, hope The Old Republic doesn't disappoint. A friend of mine has it and got to try it on her system.
The same friend is teaching me the basics of Game Mastering...so, if you're still interested in doing that, I'm still working out details...actually trying to create something I've never seen before for it...and if I can get her to master the game for us (working on that too), we may try soon.
So, pretty busy few weeks...hopefully some good will come of it.
