Yeah, hi everybody...it's been an interesting...well, month and a half. So to tell you what happened, I've called in Mr. Announcer Guy. *hits the applause sign button*
Um...Mr. Announcer Guy? Are you coming?

Stupid Announcer Guy...fine...I'll do it myself.
Anyway, *picks up the script* When we last left our heroine...that's me, in case there's any confusion...she was just returning from an unplanned hiatus with a computer reminiscent of a Frankenstein creation. It worked for 4 days, and just as she was preparing the review for FFXII...it died utterly and completely.
So yeah, then I finally got a new cord, my computer is in long term functioning order *hits her cherry dresser* about two weeks ago, some things are working better...so I'm better off in a lot of things there. However, just as I got my new cord, school started back up.
For those who don't know, I'm an education major, with minors in math and science. This semester, I have an extremely heavy load, four math classes aren't fun, just so we're clear. I then have two strictly education classes on top of that, and a Registered Student Organization (RSO) that I'm a major part of. So, my first two weeks, I leave at 8 in the morning, and I (if I'm lucky) get home about 9 at night.
I'm also dating again...so yeah, that just adds on to it some more. She and I are spending a lot of time together, talking most nights when I get home, and spent most of last weekend hanging out at her place.
So, to say my computer hasn't got it's usual workout is an understatement...it's actually been off (something that never happens when it's in working order usually) since last Thursday. When it was on...it was for school work too, not for something fun, but for something for school...so yeah, I'm glad I'm able to update.
Anyway...I also got rather sidetracked on the Final Fantasy XII playthrough by the unexpected purchase of Mass Effect 2. Can anyone blame me? Anyone at all? I promise a review of it will come too.
There's actually something planned for after the FF Reviews...a kind of compare and contrast of JRPG's and Western ones...a BioWare series, starting at most likely KotOR (I can go further back, but that's the first that really caught my attention by them). I'd really like to finish ME2 before I get to FFXII again though, and then I'll have to play through the BioWare RPG's, including ME2 again...which I hope to include Dragon Age in as well, so, it'll be a while, especially with school.
However, other games are coming my way...Reach, for instance...and I still have school, the girlfriend, and the RSO to contend with. But, I'll try to be on the site more, and update more often, reviews may be slower coming though.
