Where does a girl start when they've been MIA for really a year with almost no contact...well, I've been around...keeping up with the ScrewAttack groups as I can, but not in any meaningful way, sadly. Let's start with where I've been, and what's happened.
As of my last post, my computer was a Frankenstein's Creation...but still working...when the beast finally collapsed on me later that week...well, I was without a computer for a while...save for mine at work. While I could get on Gametrailers and ScrewAttack...for some reason, the "nanny"-system that was supposed to prevent me from getting to them, kicked in at log in.
By the time I got a new computer, work had gotten insane, my ex and I had split up, I was at work or school from 6:30 am to 11 pm most days, my boss had decided that he was going to quit, and rather than promote me, the most senior and most experienced member, I got overlooked for a guy. Remember, dear readers, sex discrimination still happens, especially in Tennessee.
As I slowly got back into the swing of things, we were nearing on the December holidays, I was now 22...and with it, came a bevy of new games...including a lot of the FF series which I didn't own, minus the MMO's (so, I now own the main 12 games, Tactics, Tactics Advance, Tactics A2, and any sequels to the main series titles out, save The After Years), which I was in the middle of reviewing. Having gotten to play through a lot of them...I can say without any doubt that I only truly hate one of those games...FFVIII. Oh my god is it boring...more on that later, though.
So, I had two choices...I could either start gaming again or I could post more often, and no offense everyone, love you all...but you're all gamers...you know how it is.
On top of everything, I moved in early February...much better internet connection, much closer to work and school, but more drain on my time getting the house ready to truly be lived in. It felt like one thing after another for a while there.

Finally, in April...I turned in my two weeks notice, and that was glorious...got started with a local health firm as well as a youth group program and an even planner, and now I'm making four times over what I was previously, my hours are insanely less, and on top of that, school's not in session.
But...that was in late April, and now it's the middle of the June...why didn't I come back sooner...well, see, I still had three main series FF titles (still one), the entire Assassin's Creed Series, and Super Mario Galaxy to finish, a Traveller game to work on with my youth group (think Firefly or Outlaw Star in DnD form), to finish some work on the house I'd been putting off, followed by the launch of a new health program, an education seminar, and E3.
To say I've been busy is a tad understating things, but I'm back now, and probably for good. So, let's get down to things you're gonna see in the next few weeks.

That's all I have planned at the moment right now...I've still got work, and I'm a year closer now to be being a full blown teacher, but I'll be around much more now...promise!
